Two Weddings!

We attend two Tamil Christian Weddings in six months on the remote island of Mannar. This was a unique opportunity to experience traditions that have not changed for centuries……

In February 2010 we visited this little known area for the first time. It is truly the Jewel of the North!! We have again been in September 2011, June and December 2012. It is a truly wonderful place – and safe – but see for yourself….

The NE is Safe

The North East of Sri Lanka suffered greatly during the civil war, but it is both safe and tremendously beautiful. We have travelled there since 2009 and can show you the remarkable sites we have discovered which are not on any maps or in any tourist guides.
